No-one should face Parkinson's alone.
How can we help you?
|
If you've just learnt you have Parkinson's, we can help and guide you to the information you need. |
|
Our friendly confidential phone chat service, Parky Pals, offers a sympathetic listening ear. |

We may be able to help unpaid carers with financial support for respite care, allowing them some "me time". |
Enjoy our activities
Non-members are always welcome at our meetings.
We encourage you to join us and become a member. You'll then get the best out of what we offer. Members receive regular email updates about our programme and other items of interest, and can participate in all our activities and events.
We ask you for a subscription of £10 per person per year. This helps to cover our fixed costs such as hall hire for our monthly meetings.
Our regular monthly meetings take place in the evenings during the lighter months (April to October) and during the daytime for the rest of the year. Expect interesting talks on Parkinson's and many other topics, refreshments, news of our activities, and plenty of time for friendly chat. Our Programme Leaflet has full details of each meeting, and they are also listed in our calendar of events.
We promote several weekly exercise classes, all subsidised by our Branch so that taking part is as affordable as possible. Find out more on our exercise classes page.
Throughout the year we arrange a varied programme of activities such as a Branch Holiday, lunches, coffee meet-ups and many others. More details from Martin, our Visits Coordinator (visits@oxfordparkinsons.org.uk), or keep an eye on our events page.
Our Working Age Group (OxWAG) is for younger people with Parkinson’s and their carers to meet socially and share ideas. Contact Dean or Trina: wag@oxfordparkinsons.org.uk
